The Math Transfer Credit Application is used to request Rutgers New Brunswick credit for math courses taken outside of Rutgers New Brunswick. Applications for non-math courses will be ignored.
SAS students:
- If the course is listed on NJtransfer.org (see below), fill out this SAS form.
- If the course is not listed on NJtransfer.org, fill out the math transfer credit application.
SEBS students:
- If the course is listed on NJtransfer.org (see below), fill out this SEBS form.
- If the course is not listed on NJtransfer.org, fill out the math transfer credit application.
RBS students:
- If the course is listed on NJtransfer.org (see below), fill out this RBS form.
- If the course is not listed on NJtransfer.org, fill out the math transfer credit application.
SOE students:
SOE evaluates all external math courses themselves. To submit a request to transfer a math course to SOE, fill out this SOE form.
All other students:
For all external math courses, fill out the math transfer credit application.
Courses listed on NJtransfer.org
To determine if a course is listed on NJtransfer.org:
- go to NJtransfer.org and click on Find Course Equivalencies or click here.
- In the "Transfer from" field, choose the NJ community college where you will be taking the external math course. In the "Transfer to" field, choose your Rutgers school. (For example, if you are in SAS, choose Rutgers-School of Arts and Sciences. If you are in SEBS, choose Rutgers-School of Env Biological Sciences.) Then click submit.
- Enter the course number (for example, MAT131) and click Go.
- If the course is listed here, you will see the appropriate credit given.
- Note: If you are unable to fill in the "Transfer from" field or the course number, the course is not listed on NJtransfer.org.
