 nbsp;</strong></p><p>The coherent state transform, under various names, app
 ears in many fields of mathematics and physics. It is associated with repre
 sentations of a group. In this talk we give a gentle introduction to the (g
 eneralized) Wehrl entropy problem, which consists in&nbsp;minimizing the en
 tropy of the coherent state transform of a quantum state. We&nbsp;explain h
 ow complex analysis can be used to achieve this in certain settings. We dis
 cuss various open questions.</p>
