"With heavy hearts we announce Patricia Diane Barr (née Cotter) of Whiting, NJ passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the age of 87. Born January 7, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA. Pat’s adventures lead her to live in Chicago, Virginia and finally settling in the Jersey shore area in the early 60’s. She retired from the Mathematics Department of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in 2011". Pat was a cheerful, very friendly, and hysterically funny source of energy for our department.
