Knots, L-spaces, and SL_2(R) representations

The L-space conjecture of Boyer-Gordon-Watson and Juhasz relates threevery different properties that a closed orientable 3-manifold mighthave: having left orderable fundamental group, having a co-oriented tautfoliation, and having a nonzero class in reduced Floer homology. I willdiscuss this conjecture and some things we can learn about it bythinking about representations of the fundamental group to SL_2(R).
