Mischaikow and collaborators publish new results on regulatory network models in systems biology

Faculty member Konstantin Mischaikow, with his co-authors Bree CumminsTomas GedeonShaun Harker, have posted new results  arXiv:1706.04234  on regulatory network models of relevance to systems biology.  The authors give a theoretical guarantee that failing to find a match invalidates the model.  Their work is applied to gene regulatory models for the yeast S. cerevisiae.  The work was partly funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
