Abstract: Let (M,g) be a Riemannian manifold with a lower bound on its Ricci curvature Rc >= -k . Said correctly, this condition turns out to be essentially equivalent to asking that analysis on M is well behaved. Much of this talk will focus on a basic introduction to the structure and regularity of such spaces, with an attempt to focus on what tools apply broadly to nonlinear geometric pde's in general and which tools are very specific to the Ricci curvature world. We will end by discussing some newer results on the topological regularity of the boundary of such spaces, which is joint with Brue, Semola and others.
