Classnotes

S E C T I O N S

Here you will find the classnotes used by the Lecturer. They are informal notes written mostly for his benefit in order to guide the lecture. They do not contain all the material discussed and should be supplemented by your own notes and the textbook. They are not really needed by the students. Only some may be posted [and will be deleted when the syllabus moves much beyond them]. They were written in the Microsoft Journal Program and you will need the Journal Reader program from the Microsoft site. Unfortunately it is not supported by many operating systems [not even all Windows], and an attempt to convert them to browser visible ones produced only very long files that would place us beyond the storage quotas allowed by the math server.

Be aware that there may be delays in the posting of classnotes. Updated info about quizzes and exams only available in class or office.
