Here I will keep, in reverse chronological order, a concise record of what we covered in lecture each day, and what you should do to prepare for the next class. (Note that you may have to reload the webpage to get the most up-to-date version.)
Wednesday, July 1: Went over problems from 6.2 and reviewed for the final exam. The final exam will be given tomorrow, July 2, from 10:00-12:45, in SEC 210. (Note that this is NOT our usual meeting place.) The final exam will cover everything up to 6.2.

Tuesday, June 30: Went over problems from 6.1, took quiz #9, and discussed 6.2. For tomorrow, do homework from 6.2 and start reviewing for the final exam. The final exam will be given on Thursday, July 2, from 10:00-12:45, in SEC 210. (Note this is NOT our usual meeting place.) The final exam will cover everything up to 6.2.

Monday, June 29: Went over problems from 4.4 and discussed 6.1. For tomorrow, do homework for 6.1 and read 6.2; tomorrow there will be a quiz on 6.1. Thursday, June 25: Went over problems from 5.3, handed out updated homework list, took quiz #8, and discussed section 4.4. For Monday, do homework for 4.4 and start reading chapter 6. The final exam will be given on Thursday, July 2, from 10:00-12:45, in SEC 210. (Note this is NOT our usual meeting place.)

Wednesday, June 24: Handed back second exam, and discussed 5.3. For tomorrow, do homework for 5.3 and read 4.4. Tomorrow there will be a quiz on 5.3.

Tuesday, June 23: Took second midterm exam.

Monday, June 22: Reviewed for the second midterm, which will be given tomorrow in class.

Thursday, June 18: Went over some problems from 5.1, discussed 5.2, and took quiz #7. For Monday, do homework for 5.2 and review for the second exam. The second exam will be given in class on Tuesday, June 23; it will cover 3.1,3.2,4.1,4.2,4.3,5.1,5.2.

Wednesday, June 17: Went over some problems from 4.3 and discussed 5.1. For tomorrow, do homework for 5.1 and read 5.2 and 5.3. (There will be a quiz on 4.3 and 5.1 tomorrow.)

Tuesday, June 16: Went over some problems from 4.1 and 4.2, discussed 4.3, handed out updated homework list, and took quiz #6. For tomorrow, do homework for 4.3 and read 5.1 and 5.2.

Monday, June 15: Finished discussing 4.1 and 4.2, and announced that the second exam will be given in class on June 23. For tomorrow, do homework from 4.1 and 4.2 and read 4.3. Tomorrow there will be a quiz on 4.1 and 4.2.
Thursday, June 11: Went over some problems from chapter 3, took quiz #5, and discussed section 4.1. For Monday, work on homework from 4.1 and read sections 4.2 and 4.3.

Wednesday, June 10: Finished discussing chapter 3. For tomorrow, do homework for chapter 3 and read sections 4.1 and 4.2. Tomorrow there will be a quiz on chapter 3.

Tuesday, June 9: The first midterm was given in class; I will post solutions soon, probably by tomorrow. For tomorrow, do homework for 3.1 and read 3.2.

Monday, June 8: Did some problems from 2.3 and 2.4, discussed 3.1, and handed out updated homework list. The first midterm will be given tomorrow in class.

Thursday, June 4: Finished discussing 2.3 and 2.4. For Monday, do homework for 2.3 and 2.4, start reviewing for the first midterm, and (if you feel ambitious) start reading 3.1.

Wednesday, June 3: Did some problems from 1.7, took quiz #4 on 1.6 and 1.7, discussed 2.1, and started discussing 2.3. For tomorrow, do homework for 2.1 and read 2.3 and 2.4.

Tuesday, June 2: Went over some problems from 1.6 and discussed 1.7. For tomorrow, do the homework for 1.7, read section 2.1, and start reading section 2.3. Tomorrow there will be a quiz on 1.6 and 1.7.

Monday, June 1: Handed out updated homework list, went over some problems from 1.4, took a quiz on 1.3 and 1.4, and had a lecture on 1.6. For tomorrow, do homework from 1.6 and read section 1.7.

Thursday, May 28: Finished material from 1.3 and 1.4, and took quiz #2. Over the weekend, do the homework for 1.3 and 1.4, and read section 1.6. (We are skipping section 1.5.) On Monday there will be a quiz on 1.3 and 1.4.

May 27: Went over material from 1.2 and part of 1.3. Took Quiz #1. To prepare for tomorrow, do homework from 1.2 and read sections 1.3 and 1.4. You can also start doing homework for 1.3.

May 26: Handed out syllabus and chapter 1 homework problems. Went over material from section 1.1. For tomorrow, do section 1.1 homework, prepare for a quiz on 1.1, and start reading sections 1.2 and 1.3.
