Teaching Numerical Analysis (574) in Spring 2009 Research interests My research interests are on computational mathematics and numerical methods for partial differential equations. In particular, my research is now focused on flow instabilities in complex fluids and material sciences. The research is currently supported in part, by NSF-DMS 0753111 and NSF-DMS 0915028, which are greatly acknowledged. Numerical Analysis Seminar I am organizing a seminar titled Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computating. The seminar invites people in their research front. Graduate students who are interested in applied mathematics are encouraged to attend the seminar. Research Opportunities I am looking for enthusiastic students.
