Announcements

Announcement 9. Posted on Tue. June 30. There was no time to cover sections 8.1 and 8.2 last night in the lecture. Therefore this material will not be included in the exam. This means there will be no exam questions of type alpha, beta 1 or beta 2. Students must also disregard fact #19 in the fact sheet.

Supplements

The following four supplements are part of the syllabus and three of them contain homework exercises.

Exams

Final Exam

The final exam will be held on Wed. July 1 from 6.00 to 9.00 p.m. The exam will be on the whole content of the course, namley N1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, N2, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, N3, 2.4, 3.1, N4, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.7, 3.8, 5.1, 3.6, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, & 4.4. Sections 8.1 and 8.2 were not covered in class and hence they will not be included in the exam. The problems in the exam will be of the types described in the document "Types of Exercises", except types alpha, beta 1 and beta 2. Refer to the document "List of Homework Exercises" for more information.

Homework will be assigned at the end of each lecture. The exercises should be carried out before the following lecture.
