Tentative teaching schedule, fall 2009
Math 153 sections 1 and 2 (the only sections)
This is a beginning calculus course reserved for certain entering engineering students. It will have four weekly meeting times with lectures TTh 1:40-3:00 and other meetings M 1:55-2:50 and W 1:40-3:00, all on Busch, intending to give more instructional support for students.
Math 251, sections 16, 17, and 18
The lectures (TTh at 5:00-6:20) and recitations (F at various times 10:20 to 3:00) meet on Livingston. Since almost all of the students will have most of their classes on Busch, I am trying to move at least the lectures to Busch. It is unlikely this will be possible, since that's a busy time.
The course will be like every other 251, except that there will probably be new Maple labs (caution: perhaps new ≠ better!) and a few workshops.
