Homework and Quizzes:
Problems will be assigned on Wednesday in lecture, and are due in recitation on Thursday a week and a day later (i.e. homework assigned on 9/2 is due on 9/10). Homework will be checked for completeness, but the problems will not corrected. At the end of recitation there will be a short quiz, similar to the homework problems due that week.
I will not accept late homework or do make-up quizzes, however at the end of the semester I will drop your lowest quiz grade and lowest homework grade before I average them.
Calculators may not be used on quizzes.
Maple Labs:
There will be four Maple labs you will complete throughout the
semester. The first recitation was an introduction to this software. If
you would like to work through the material we covered on that day, the
information is available here
(ignore the TeX source files).
Assignments: Closer to the due dates, everyone will have individual data
posted here for each Maple Lab.
