Practice problems for the final exam
All practice problems
for the final exam are taken from Chapters 16 and 17 of the textbook.
The actual test will have ten problems worth 20 points each.
Roughly six of these problems will be on the material of chapters 16
and 17. Roughly two problems will be testing you on the material of the
first midterm (Chapters 12 and 13) and roughly two problems will be testing
you on the material of the second midterm (Chapters 14 and 15).
These practice problems are given in addition to the recommended
homework problems. Any material covered in class or in the book may
appear on the test. Please bring a picture ID to the final exam,
which will be held on Thursday, Dec 22, 12noon-3pm in room 209 of SEC
(the regular lecture room).
Review prior material.
Specifically, look at the actual first and second midterm exams,
the practice problems for these exams and the homework problems and quizzes.
